I saw the case study on the blazer p0300. I’m working on 96 silv 4.3 I found worn distributor and one plug wire at cap ccorroded. this was my first repair this vehicle will duplicate symptom excessively in 3rd gear 2000 rpms are above light throttle unplug EGR valve 80% of misfire goes away r&r egr symptom did not change. Cam position retarde degree is -21. about to check fuel pressure this afternoon and flow. All other pids look very normal except b1 is lean also here a converter rattle. With egr and o2 sens unplugged only random and very light missfire occur.
